8-Bit Quest by Google Maps
Google Maps has activated 8-Bit Quest mode for April Fool’s Day. Paying homage to Dragon Quest for NES even Street View gets the 8-bit treatment! Choose “Quest” where you would normally switch to Satellite view in the upper right to begin your journey. Video here.via Brother Brain ★

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NINTENDO 3DS!!!
It has been one year since Nintendo came out with the 3DS, and it has been one year since I purchased mine.
This was a great purchase. I have also recently purchased a PS Vita so you can expect a comparison/review coming soon.
This is my first review of a game, so please be very patient.
I started playing this game because it was free on the Playstation Store. Most racing games are a lot of loading screens and long races and normally lose peoples interest because they have to wait so long to play. With this game there is none of that crap.
First, when you start the game you have a minimalistic set of things you can do or select, unless you chose to purchase the downloadable content from the PS Store. But even after your first race you start unlocking all of the game goodies, and let me reassure you, there is a lot to do in this game.
There are 24 trophies and over 100 unlockable cars in the game. This alone will keep you entertained for hours.
This game provides hours of fun with nothing but play time. You can restart a race instantly, switch to another track instantly and even switch cars on the fly via the main menu.
Tracks that you race on are challenging at times, but for the most part anyone can just pick this game up and start playing and have lots of fun.
The only downside to this game is the lack of tracks that you can use. It is about 4 different tracks per area you’re in for a total of 16 tracks (I think, don’t quote me.). There is also DLC for this game that I believe unlocks more tracks and different cars. I don’t find the DLC worth it unless you want some nifty cars.
Other than the track issue which is really not a problem since the game is free, I would rate this game as a good game to pick up if you have extra room on your memory card.
Overall rating for Motorostorm: RC = 8.5 out of 10
My art on your stick… It’s still surreal to see my art in a Capcom game, let alone on their arcade stick! #my8yearoldselfwouldbeproud #art #capcom #marvel #mvc2 (Taken with instagram)
Sega Dreamcast (1998-Japan)
The Dreamcast is Sega’s most recent video game console and the successor to the Sega Saturn. An attempt to recapture the console market with a next-generation system, it was designed to supersede the PlayStation and Nintendo 64.
Originally released sixteen months before the PlayStation 2 (PS2) and three years before the Nintendo GameCube and the Xbox, the Dreamcast is part of the sixth generation of video game consoles.
Dreamcast was widely hailed as ahead of its time, and is still held in high regard for pioneering online console gaming. Sega discontinued the Dreamcast in March 2001, and withdrew entirely from the console hardware business.
